Skin Restoration Aesthetics Clinic was born from a deeply personal journey, one of healing, education and purpose. Our founder, Rethabile ‘Shaz’ Motaung, was inspired to pursue skincare after witnessing her mother’s long battle with hyperpigmentation. After eight years of studying, researching and applying results-driven treatments, not only did her mother regain healthy skin but so did many others who had lost hope.
Today, Skin Restoration is a lifestyle clinic that goes beyond surface treatments. We believe that great skin starts from within and that treating the root cause is just as important as what you apply on top.
Rethabile “Shaz” Motaung, is a passionate Medical Dermal Aesthetician dedicated to promoting skin health. Her journey into skin care began during her high school years, driven by witnessing friends’ struggles with skin issues and her mother’s battle with hyperpigmentation. This experience ignited her passion for helping others boost their self-esteem and confidence through effective skin care.
Shaz holds a National Diploma in Somatology from the University of Johannesburg and an Advanced Diploma in Medical Dermal Aesthetics from Isa Carstens. Her determination to excel in the field led her to work with esteemed Aesthetic Clinics and renowned Aesthetics Doctors, where she gained valuable knowledge and skills.
